All content on this site, including our collections, photography, and the name The Jewel Standard, is our intellectual property and protected by applicable law.

02Orders & Acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to purchase. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order — for example, where a piece is unavailable, where there is an error in pricing or description, or where we are unable to verify payment.

Most pieces are made to order. Estimated production times are listed on each product page, and a confirmed lead time will be shared with you after purchase.

03Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. Applicable taxes and duties are calculated at checkout or, for international orders, collected by customs upon delivery.

Payment is required in full at the time of order unless a custom payment arrangement has been agreed in writing for a bespoke commission. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.

04Bespoke & Custom Commissions

Bespoke and made-to-order pieces are created uniquely for you. Because work begins specifically to your specifications, deposits for custom commissions are non-refundable once production has started, and these pieces are not eligible for return or exchange.

We will share design approvals along the way and ask that you confirm specifications — such as size, metal, and stone selection — carefully before production begins.

05Shipping, Returns & Warranty

06Product Representation

We take great care to photograph and describe our pieces accurately. As each piece is handcrafted with natural materials, slight variations in gemstones, color, and finish are inherent to fine jewelry and are not considered defects. On-screen colors may also vary by device.

07Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Jewel Standard is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our site or products. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the piece in question.

08Governing Law & Changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of our site constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
