Heirloom Resets

From cherished to reimagined

Some stones are too meaningful to sit in a drawer. Let's bring them back to life.

The Reimagining — heirloom diamond pendant and earrings
01

The Reimagining

Every heirloom reset begins with understanding two things: where your stones have been, and where you want them to go. In our first conversation, we take the time to learn about your existing pieces, your vision for what they could become, and what you're hoping to feel when you wear them.

Whether you have a clear idea or simply know you want something new, this is where the project takes shape.

The Handoff

Once your vision is established and you're ready to move forward, we collect a design deposit to officially get your project started. From there, the next step is getting your heirloom pieces into our hands. If you're local to NYC, you're welcome to bring them in to us in person. If you're anywhere else in the world, we'll guide you through our secure shipping process to ensure your pieces arrive safely.

Either way, your stones are in the right hands from the moment they leave yours.

The Blueprint

With your heirloom pieces in our hands and your vision firmly established, the design process begins. Working closely with you, we translate everything we've learned about your style, your stones, and your desired outcome into a design that feels entirely right. Once we've landed on the perfect direction, detailed mockups are created so you can visualize exactly how your reimagined piece will look before a single stone is set.

Nothing moves forward until you love what you see.

The Crafting

Your approved design is now in the hands of our master jeweler. Every element is handcrafted to the highest standard, with an uncompromising attention to detail that ensures your piece is executed exactly as designed. If your piece calls for additional stones, we source and hand select each one personally, choosing only the finest diamonds and gemstones that will work within the design.

Every piece is set in solid gold or platinum, because your heirloom stones deserve nothing less than the finest materials to carry them forward.

After passing our final quality inspection, your reimagined piece is ready to be delivered to you, wherever you are in the world. Your heirloom becomes something entirely new, still carrying the history, but made for the life you're living now.

Wear it every day. That's exactly what it was made for.

Frequently Asked Questions

We work with diamonds and natural colored gemstones. If you're unsure whether your stone qualifies, reach out and we'll be happy to take a look.
Both options are available. We work with clients virtually from anywhere, as well as in person. Whichever you prefer, we'll guide you through the process every step of the way.
While we can't incorporate the metal from your original piece directly into the new design, as this can compromise the integrity of the jewelry, we can apply its melt value as a credit toward your new piece.
In most cases, yes. We assess every stone carefully before proceeding, and if we have any concerns about its condition, we'll discuss the options with you before moving forward. It is also common for smaller stones to be cracked or damaged once removed from old settings. Any unusable stones will be returned to you.
Heirloom resets start at $2,000+, with the final investment depending on the complexity of the design.
Simpler resets typically take one to two months, while more complex designs or projects involving multiple pieces can take three to four months. We'll give you a more accurate timeline once we've discussed your project.
Not necessarily. While resetting a large stone can save you quite a bit, projects with multiple smaller stones often require significant labor to customize a design around existing sizes and shapes. This can make them comparable in cost, or sometimes more than buying new. The real value of a reset isn't financial, it's the ability to carry something sentimental forward in a piece you'll love wearing every day.
Yes, a complimentary appraisal is always included with your finished piece.
